OK the weather was not really clement enough to get down the allotment this weekend so I took the plunge and started off some seeds!
I have sowed:
- about a dozen Harzfeuer tomatoes (small bunch type),
- about a dozen Gartenperle cherry tomatoes,
- about 10 sweet pepper seeds, Canape type (from Alan Romans),
- a pot full of De Carentan winter leeks.
So I will keep up to date on their progress. they are on the windowsill in the pantry where it is quite cool, I suppose it is about 18 degrees in there and they are behind frosted glass. If it seems too cool, I will move them into the kitchen but I didn't want them to get leggy too quickly.
